Vernon family rallying for daughter

A dental hygienist since 1997, Vernon native Shannon Singh thought the severe pain in her lower back was from sitting awkwardly in her chair. Singh, 46, was admitted to a hospital in White Rock where doctors discovered her pain was the result of a return of cancer - Singh had been in remission from breast cancer since 2001.
