When the renowned essayist - most often about sports, but other topics too - Roger Angell published "This Old Man: Life in the nineties" it became, deservedly, an instant classic. A couple of weeks ago, Tom Delmore emailed to remind me that it has been exactly a year since Angell's tour of life in the tenth decade first appeared in The New Yorker and although I mentioned it last February in an Interesing Stuff post, it deserves another outing at greater length.
