Young offenders incarcerated at Topeka's juvenile detention facility are learning technical skills to make them more marketable and less likely to get into trouble after they are released. Those who are still in high school while serving time at the Kansas Juvenile Correctional Complex can earn credit through the Washburn Institute of Technology, the Topeka Capital-Journal reported.
