Northumberland mum to tackle first marathon to raise funds for Alzheimer's Research UK

Dental hygienist will be raising funds for Alzheimer's Research UK - cheered on by her "fantastic" step-dad who has been diagnosed with the disease A Northumberland mum who was inspired by her "fantastic" step-dad to take up running 20 years ago has signed up to her first marathon in aid of Alzheimer's research. Sarah Hunter will be following in the footsteps of 65-year-old stepfather Len when she hits the streets for the London Marathon in April and is terrified at the scale of the challenge.
