Seven decades after leaving The Citadel, Army veteran gets his diploma

Inside the dark blue-gray cover of The Sphinx, the 1938 yearbook of The Citadel, are hundreds of photos of young men, almost all of them bound for the military and then the war that would soon make its way to the U.S. Many of them never came home from that war.
