The Clark County Board of Health will recognize its 2015 Public Health Community Award winners at its meeting April 22. Melody Scheer and Battle Ground Health Care will be honored at 8:30 a.m. April 22 at the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St. Scheer is being recognized for improving access to dental care for low-income people. She spearheaded the county's Access to Baby and Child Dentistry program in 2005 and founded the New Day Community Dental Clinic in 2011.
