The Pelham College Fund: Important During the Great Depression

In 1929, on the very eve of the onset of the Great Depression, a group of public-spirited men in the Town of Pelham created "The Pelham College Fund." The purpose of the fund was to identify Pelham Memorial High School graduates who needed financial aid in order to pay for college.
