Dentists: Halloween candy not so good for teeth

TUCSON, AZ - 'Can we please have some candy?' has been heard all weekend by parents across Southern Arizona and dentists are offering some advice on how much candy should be eaten and what to do after eating it. According to local dentists after eating that Halloween treat, the mouth breaks down the candy into acid and that acid stays in a person's mouth for 20 minutes after each piece is eaten; this destroys the tooth's enamel.
