While many local tots are gorging themselves on their Halloween haul, local dentist and owner of Grand Smile Dental Alexandra Kaimov is hoping that some young ones will choose cash over candy. Grand Smile at 69-77 Grand Avenue is hosting a candy buyback, offering $1 for every pound of candy brought in by local youngsters between November 3 and 7. As a dentist who sees a large number of young patients, Kaimov said she got the idea for the buyback after she noticed that the frequency of tooth problems increased following the holiday season.
