Spike in north coast public dental waiting list

A spokesman for local dentists says vouchers that allow public patients to be treated for free by private practitioners have not been issued since the start of July. APN newspapers this week reported the waiting list for public dental care in the northern district jumped by 2500, or more than 50 per cent, during a three-month period earlier this year.
