Vancouver man practised illegal dentistry out of basement: dental college

B.C.'s regulatory body for dentists is taking action against a man it claims was practising illegal dentistry in the basement of a Vancouver house. The College of Dental Surgeons of B.C. says an investigation involving surveillance led it to conclude Chao Ming Guan was performing dentistry out of his home, despite never being registered as a dentist in the province.
