State investigators found a pattern of racial discrimination and sexual harassment in the workplace at Daimler's Swan Island Western Star manufacturing plant, where workers build heavy trucks. Daimler Trucks North America in Portland will pay a record $2.4 million to settle racial discrimination and sexual harassment complaints filed by six former employees, Oregon's top labor enforcement official announced Thursday.
