Ducey signs new law after ABC15 dental series

Governor Doug Ducey has approved a bill that requires new dental professionals to pass background checks before obtaining a license and repeals a state law that hid the vast majority of dental board discipline from the public. The bill, which will provide much greater transparency for the public, was amended significantly in the middle of the legislative session directly because of an ABC15 Investigation.
