Saddle River GOP braces for primary fight between two slates

Two Republicans vying to be the borough's new mayor will square off in the June primary, and four residents are running for nominations to two open seats on the Borough Council. After two years of hotly contested elections that caused a fracture in the borough's strong Republican community, mayoral candidates Al Kurpis and James Napolitano are pledging to bring back civility.
