Community raises $20,000 for Hillcrest playground so far

"The Hillcrest Academy Community Playground Society has been working hard fundraising over the past through months and there have been some very generous donations and contributions lately," said Robin Smith, one of the committee members. A recent contribution of $6000 was made possible when Danyelle Rapp with Dr. Kim Mailman's office a local dentist, applied for funding for the playground through the Nova Scotia Dental Association fund.
