Bhopinder Singh Matharoo, who was based at the Wellcroft Othodontic and Dental Practice in Shipley , was neither present nor represented at the disciplinary hearing. The GDC's Professional Conduct Committee was told Matharoo was convicted at Leeds Crown court of affray, amended to assault on a person causing actual bodily harm and was sentenced to six months imprisonment two years ago.
