Sweethearts at school and still married 60 years later, Jean and Russell Fearns celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary on New Year's Day. Mrs Fearns is from the Beare farming family of Browston, who still sell their produce on the Yarmouth market, while her husband hailed from a Scottish family who settled in Yarmouth having followed the herring industry down the east coast.
