Area dental collaborative presents at Lyon County Board meeting

The number of area dental providers who accept Medicaid patients has gone from one to zero as of Jan. 1, say members of the Early Childhood Dental Network Southwest. The Early Childhood Dental Network-SW is an 18-county, collaborative project designed to increase awareness and education to all children and their caregivers about the importance of oral health, and to promote access to dental care, specifically to the birth through age 5 population on Minnesota health care programs or the uninsured.
