Chad Leger reports $180K in warchest for sheriff's race

Scott Police Chief Chad Leger has reported more than $180,000 in cash on hand in his campaign for Lafayette Parish sheriff. Leger announced his intent to run in January, just weeks after longtime Sheriff Mike Neustrom said he will not seek re-election this fall.
