Oregon dentistry administrator takes national job

Patrick Braatz, longtime executive director of the Oregon Board of Dentistry, has resigned for a job with a national test development group. Bratz, who was top administrator for the state's dental oversight agency for 11 years, said he took the job as chief operating officer with the nonprofit American Board of Dental Examiners because the group oversees the closest thing to a national dental exam that exists in the country.
