"You want to avoid things that are sticky because obviously it's going to stick to your teeth and create more cavities quicker," says Royal Palm Beach dentist, Dr. Bruce Elkind. He adds that hard candies are just as bad for your teeth, because you can bite into them and crack a tooth.
