Service members receive candy that is collected and sent to Operation Gratitude. The local collection day is Nov. 4. The Daily Courier Local children who trick-or-treat on Halloween have the chance to send some of their bounty to American troops if they participate in dentist Dr. Robert Carlisi's candy buy-back program.
