Gretna dentist collecting candy for troops

As a part of "Operation Troop Treats," the Gretna Kool Smiles dental office, 6 Westside Shopping Center, is encouraging children to donate their Halloween candy to them in exchange for a toy from Oct. 29 through Nov. 5, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The candy will be included in care packages to U.S. troops serving overseas.
