Raleigh dentist barred from sedating patients

In an order filed Tuesday, the North Carolina State Board of Dental Examiners found that Robert W. Eisberg II has routinely placed pediatric patients in a deep sedation and is not trained to conduct the level of sedation. "It is the board's opinion that the respondent's continued use of moderate pediatric conscious sedation constitutes a threat to the public health, safety and welfare," according to the order.
