'What Scares You?!' exhibit opens at Caron Gallery

The dentist's chair, a sad clown, a hungry crocodile and a devastating tornado are a few of the fears artists have depicted for the Caron Gallery's new show, "What Scares You?!" Thirteen artists from across the state, including Mary, Cindy Aune, Sam Baldwin, Cartron Williams, Shelley Ozbirn, Jason Lott and Sandra Carpenter, are putting their fears on canvas for the show, set for 5-7 p.m. Oct. 30. "I want it to be a fun event, and to show people art doesn't have to be stuffy," Caron said. Some of the most interesting pieces she's gotten in so far include Michelle Allee's "Crowns and Roots," which is all about being afraid of the dentist.
