Former Whitley County dentist pleads guilty to Medicaid fraud over fake exams

Ronald Hungerbuhler entered an Alford plea in Whitley Circuit Court, acknowledging that the evidence against him was likely to result in a guilty verdict, according to Attorney General Jack Conway's office. Some of the fake bills involved patients who were dead or were hospitalized at the time, according to Conway's Office of Medicaid Fraud.
