Head Start children learn healthy dental habits

On Feb. 25, the North Augusta Head Start Center was visited by dental hygienists from Clyburn Health Center and Dr. Deborah Ashcraft's office to celebrate National Children's Dental Health Month. This monthlong national health observance brings together thousands of dedicated dental professionals, health care providers and educators to promote the benefits of good oral health to children, their caregivers, teachers and many others.
