The 19th century invention on anesthesia in Hartford is dramatized in the new play "Ether Dome" which has opened the 2014-2015 season at Hartford Stage. The show, running through Oct. 5, features Richmond Hoxie, Lee Sellars , Greg Balla, Tom Patterson, Salvatore Mitsou,and William Youmans.
