The family of a Stamford woman shot and killed in her car in Washington, D.C., will protest Friday at the site where she was killed. "One year after Miriam Carey was shot to death by government officials, the Carey family and supporters are participating in a silent protest," Valarie Carey, Miriam's older sister, said in a news release.
