Lois Lerner absolves herself of blame for IRS targeting of the Tea Party

Lois Lerner , a former IRS official who is at the center of a political firestorm surrounding the deliberate targeting of the Tea Party and conservative groups, may be disinclined to talk to congressional investigators. But, as Monday's profile of her in Politico suggests , she is willing to talk to the media, at least up to a point.
