Plans progressing on new brewery for Charlottetown

City council holds public meeting where it also hears of plans for dental clinic on Grafton St. next to Wendy's Charlottetown council held a special public meeting Tuesday where it passed a resolution calling for the joining of two lots into one at the corner of Allen Street and Jordan Crescent behind the downtown Sobeys. While the plans for that area were not read into the record of Tuesday's meeting, briefing notes from the planning staff say the owner, the McQuaids, have plans to build a microbrewery there.
